{Whatcha working on Wednesday}

Just sliding in here before the end of Wednesday with this post; sorry for the radio silence, a few things going on around home that needed my attention as priority.

On the sewing table this week is a buttery yellow linen dress which I started on my birthday at the end of last year, but I gladly threw it aside to spend some time in the naughty corner whilst I finished restoring my bicycle.

I have picked it up again determined to somehow make the skirt into some sort of flattering gathered or pleated (or both) contraption with about half the width I need to accomplish either successfully. The pattern is this one:

Which you may recall I declared as 'love at first sight' when I acquired it a couple of months ago, lets just say dont judge a pattern by its envelope... I will fill you in more if when I finish it!

Also on the sewing table (well arm of the couch taunting me to finish it if I am being totally honest) is a restyle of a bright blue school jumper I picked up at an op shop for a couple of dollars recently. I am adding a little bling to it, because apparently when the clock struck midnight on 31 December 2011 I suddenly became obsessed with sequins.

Can I just whine say, sequins en masse, take a looong time!
